Security and choice
Open a Direct Sharedeal account and you can choose whether to hold your shares in a Crest Account (which carries your name) or a nominee account (which carries the Direct Sharedeal name). Either way your shares have a separate legal status and are ‘ring-fenced’ from Direct Sharedeal’s assets.
