New customers – £100 promotion
1 – Presentation
This promotion is operated by CMC Spreadbet Plc (registered in England and Wales with Company number 02589529 trading as DS Marker Trader – referred to as either "DS Market Trader" or "CMC Markets" - and whose registered office is at 66 Prescot Street, London, E1 8HG. CMC Spreadbet Plc is authorised and regulated by the Financial Services Authority (FSA reference number 170627).
Subject to the following Terms and Conditions (the "Terms"), new customers of CMC Markets will be entitled to receive £100paid into their Spreadbet account opened with CMC Markets (the "Promotion").
The risks associated with Spread Betting, CFD and FX trading will apply to this promotion. These products carry a high risk to your capital. Therefore, as a result of trading activity you undertake in order to qualify for this Promotion, losses incurred may exceed the value of the Promotion and of your initial deposit.
2 – Start and End dates of the promotion
The Promotion is available from 21/04/09 to 30/06/09 (both dates inclusive).
3 – Conditions of eligibility
This Promotion is open to CMC Markets new customers.
For the purpose of this Promotion, a new customer is a customer who has never held an account with CMC Spreadbet Plc and who:
1. is a resident of the United Kingdom; and
2. is aged 18 or over at the time of entering the promotion; and
3. submits his/ her application form between the start date and the end date provided that the application is accepted and the account further opened in accordance with CMC Markets’ standard account opening procedures. CMC Markets reserves the right to refuse any application, at any time and for any reason. If a customer’s application for a CMC Markets account is rejected, he/she will not be entitled to take advantage of the Promotion; and
4. funds his/her Spreadbet account with a minimum of £200 on or before the end date; and
5. executes a minimum of 4 trades on or before the end date;
Each new customer will only qualify once for this promotion. This promotion is limited to two (2) new accounts per household (same name, same address). This promotion cannot be used in conjunction with another Promotion. This Promotion is non-transferable and may be revoked at any time by CMC Markets for any reason.
This promotion is not available to any person who is:
1. an employee of CMC Markets or any other company within its group; or
2. a friend or member of the family of such employee; or
3. affiliated or connected to CMC Markets or any other company within its group, including but not limited to brokers or partners of CMC Markets or any other company within their group.
If CMC Markets discovers that a new customer was ineligible, CMC Markets reserves the right to disqualify such customer. The same shall apply if the new customer account is subject to a dispute before or at the time the customer would be entitled to receive the £100in the absence of such dispute.
4 – Promotion
Eligible Customers complying with these Terms will receive £100 paid into their Spreadbet account within five (5) working days of the last condition being fulfilled.
Money received under this Promotion may not be withdrawn from the CMC Markets account for 6 months from the date it is paid into the account.
5 – Governing laws
The promotion and the Terms will be governed by English law and any dispute arising will be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of English courts.
